Created in 2014, Couture Love is an event planning, design, and styling company. Whether it’s an intimate set-up for two, an event for 200, or design updates to a newly purchased or already owned home, we are here to make your event and design desires come true. Creating unforgettable events and designs, our style is truly unique and tailored to fit every event, decor update, and budget. We specialize in providing service that is all about you, your vision, your design, our expertise. Are you ready for the Couture Love experience?

What are 2 trends in the event planning industry that you’re excited about?

I am excited about micro weddings! I feel the more intimate the event the more opportunities to personalize the event and add more of the client’s personality!

I am also excited about the fact that more clients are opting to add more natural items into their decor, like pampas grass, foliage, and fruits! I think this is so amazing and allows so much creativity!

What are some tips for creating an elegant and memorable event on a tight budget?

When I have an elegant event on a tight budget I love to add items that are special to the client! I’ve found that most people tend to remember the smallest details from events that may not have cost a fortune; such as incorporating family heirlooms, a special flower from the garden of a special person, or incorporating the couples/ guest of honors monogram or special photos.

If you had unlimited resources, what would your dream client and event look like?

Wow, I don’t know if this question is even fair, hahaha! I have so many favorites but I think a French countryside soirée filled with flowers, several courses or dinner and dancing all night, live performances from the client’s favorite artist, followed by watching the sunrise and having brunch the next day for everyone!

How important are your relationships with vendors and what are some ways that you successfully cultivate and ensure good rapport?

Vendor relationships are pertinent in all businesses but especially so in the event industry! Building a successful rapport is essential to our roles because it allows you to create a lasting relationship! This can be established by inviting the vendor out for lunch or sending them a special gift or even a referral!

Once you have established a successful rapport, you have an adversary who can help to make sure an event runs not only smoothly but because of the established relationship, you can trust each other which can also help create a successful experience for your clients!

What’s the most exciting thing on the horizon for you personally or professionally?

Although 2020 may be a little different than what we originally expected, I have so many things to look forward to! I am also the co-founder of a magazine and we have some really amazing networking events coming up!

I am also working on launching a new bridal/special occasion personal styling company called Haus De Couture! I am so excited about everything that is on the horizon!
