We take pride in producing and styling custom weddings and events that are tailored to every client, budget, and fairytale vision.
Thinking outside of the box is our specialty, being creative with your ideas and coming up with different ways of treating your guests to an amazing evening is what will make your event a memorable experience for all in attendance.
Please let us worry about the coordination and planning of your celebration so you can take in every moment stress-free. You deserve the best, and I hope you let us show you just how perfect we can make any event!
What are 2 trends in the event planning industry that you’re excited about?
I am loving the fact that everyone is doing things a bit differently lately! Gone are the days of doing what is expected at a wedding – now everyone wants to wow their guests with entertainment, specialty drinks, and little details that are reflective of them as a couple!
Secondly, I am seeing more and more of my couples wanting to go black and white and super formal for their wedding day. Checkered dance floors, mixed metallics, and glam are also some things I am seeing more of!
How important are your relationships with vendors and what are some ways that you successfully cultivate and ensure good rapport?
My vendors are amazing – I have a great relationship with them and highly recommend using them to all my clients. Knowing your vendors ensures great communication, amazing quality, and definitely adds to making the event run smoothly!
What advice would you give someone who needs to plan a fundraiser but isn’t sure where to start?
Honestly, hire a planner! I, personally, donate two events a year to charities – and I am sure there are others who do the same! It’s good for the soul to give back to the community, helps connect me with future clients, and is so much fun!
What’s the most exciting thing on the horizon for you personally or professionally?
We are looking forward to the busiest season yet, expanding our team and growing like crazy! We are always looking to the next phase of JMEP – and we are moving more and more into doing a lot of South Asian Weddings, which is amazing!
What inspired you to launch your own company in the event industry? How long did it take from initially having the idea to setting up and starting to attract a client base?
I launched JMEP with the intent of hosting about 25 events a year. I wanted to have the ability to set my own schedule and be available for my kiddos.
Our first year we successfully planned and styled 54 events! Currently, we do about 100 events a year and are looking forward to even more growth in the future!
