We get to know vendors through networking, styled shoots, and weddings, which gives us the opportunity to see how they work so we can refer them to our clients.

We are a husband and wife boutique wedding planning and coordinating company that takes a personal approach to every event. Our goal when working with our clients is to make the process of planning a wedding or event an organized, simplified, and stress-free process – whether that is being constantly available for questions, quick response times, or our meticulous research. We understand that allowing someone else to join you on the journey of planning the most special day of your life is a big decision, and we want you and your family to be able to sit back and trust in our experience. From the start, we build relationships with every client in order to fully capture you as a couple. Our passion is creativity and transforming your vision into a unique design that represents you while making your wedding day feel as effortless as possible! We strive to design weddings that are visually stunning with personal touches and exquisite attention to detail, and of course, completely stress-free.

What are some tips for creating an elegant and memorable event on a tight budget?

For many of our clients, the guest experience is extremely important to them. This could be anything from hiring a shuttle service, providing an open bar, welcome baskets in the guests’ hotel rooms, or even offering a late-night snack! We also encourage our couple to plan their day to give them the most time with their guests. We often suggest a first look, so the couple can get their photos done before the Ceremony to spend as much time as possible at the Cocktail Hour or Reception. This truly makes a wedding memorable for all people involved.

If you had unlimited resources, what would your dream client and event look like?

Our dream client would be an adventurous couple who is interested in a destination wedding with their family and friends. This could be any type of wedding, whether that is on a beach or in the mountains! We truly love when a client values our opinions and wants to invest their money to give them and their guests a memorable experience.

How important are your relationships with vendors and what are some ways that you successfully cultivate and ensure good rapport?

75% of our referrals come from fellow vendors, so relationships are extremely important! We get to know vendors through networking, styled shoots, and weddings, which gives us the opportunity to see how they work so we can refer them to our clients as well. We tend to only refer professional, inclusive vendors who are easy to work with, so we really try to get to know them on a deeper level.

What’s the most exciting thing on the horizon for you personally or professionally?

We are working towards taking on more destination weddings. We are obsessed with traveling so if we were able to exclusively work out of state or country, that would be our dream!

What inspired you to launch your own company in the event industry? How long did it take from initially having the idea to setting up and starting to attract a client base?

When I was 10 years old, I watched the movie ‘The Wedding Planner’ with Jennifer Lopez, and ever since then, I knew I wanted to be in the wedding industry. It was my dream job all through high school, so once I ended my college career I started applying for jobs to work with wedding planners. I gained a few years of experience doing that and working at a venue, then decided it was the right time for me to start my own business in 2018.

It only took 8 months of being in business before I could quit my day job and work my dream job full time. Just five months later, we got so busy that my husband was able to quit his day job and join me full time as well. We were able to grow extremely fast due to our growing state and this just reassures me that we started at the right time.

What’s the first event you can ever remember planning and how did it go?

One of the first events we ever planned was an elopement in Bend, OR, for a family member. They decided to get married in the middle of a National Park with immediate family members only. We were in charge of setting up a Ceremony space, finding an officiant, setting up a charcuterie table, and booking the florist. Everything went according to plan, but at the time Oregon was experiencing large wildfires nearby. Usually, in Bend you have gorgeous views of the mountains, but the smoke blocked literally all views. We still moved forward as planned and their pictures turned out really beautiful! We planned their Reception a year later in Bend and they went back to their original Elopement location and re-took their photos with their photographer.
